website ranking and traffic

I am ranking for many longtail keywords which do not have any competition

google external keyword tools report that
each of these are being searched monthly from 140 -800+ times a month...

in short keywords I am ranking are on 1st - 4th position on the first page or in some 6/7 times on first page. total monthly searches would be 7000+ for these keywords

but alexa reports
global rank 2,300,000+
backlinks 200+


while backlinks which exists are many more

what should i understand from this.

is alexa wrong.. or there is some problem with my seo...

this site has mixture of duplicate and original content and many pages are indexed and new pages with original or duplicate content get indexed quickly...


but conversions are low...
bounce rate is 50%

do you guys trust google external tool reporting?

Yes. I trust them.

Alexa's backlinks are inacccurate, as with any tools. That depends on the depth of their database.

As to Alexa ranking, what do you expect? I have a site with more than 400.000 page views per month but still ranks lower than 1 million.

Actually i want to share my friend problem, his site is on top 3 ranking, but still site has 0 visitors. no lead generation. can you share any idea.

Actually opal, it may be that your friend not link site on relevant site, thus there is no visitors. But you can suggest him for video promotion also. it also create much lead. perhaps it will help.

There could be some glitches. But I trust google external tool reporting.
