Website Penalized

Hi,

How to checked if my website has been penalized, it was all fine like 4 hrs ago and now my website is not ranking for any of my keywords. I have check google webmaster tool for a penalty but nothing there is nothing mentioned just No manual webspam actions found. I also checked my ismywebsitepenalized and all good there as well but its just my website hasn't been ranked for my keywords.

there is no automatic way to check it. here are a few tips:

1. Webmaster console shows only manual penalties. This is actually good, since you know approximately what was the change and can submit a reconsideration request.
2. If nothing is shown in Webmaster console and you see a major drop, then there can be several reasons to it:
   1. Google Dance? Especially if you site is new
   2. Check for news on what changes Google made to the search engine algo during the time of your traffic drop. They do multiple small updates a day
   3. Check what you changed on your site within a couple days of the drop, maybe there is something as stupid as a robots.txt disallowing all bots
3. Check sites like:
   1. moz.com/google-algorithm-change
      
   2. searchengineland.com/library/google/google-algorithm-updates
      
   3. semrush.com/sensor
   4. etc...
