Hey BHW,

My name is Kennith and going to be starting a review site and had a couple questions. I am using Weebly as my host for right now.

1. For a review site, is a blog or an actual site better?

2. If a blog is the way to go, how do I add the meta keywords to each post? For example, I have several different products that I am reviewing and want to add keywords to each post using the SEO page in settings. It seems like I can only add the keywords to the overall site if that makes sense.

3. What goes in the header code and footer code?

Those are the only questions I can think of right now. I will be keeping track of my progress and will be posting a journey here soon. Thank you for taking the time to assist with these questions.

If you want your site to be taken seriously, drop Weebly. It looks amateurish, and their paid plans and "tools" are a joke. You'll always be limited, and their paid plans cost you more in the long run.

If your have some money, I suggest you head over to retailmenot and pickup a .com coupon for $2 and some cheap hosting from hostgator. Install Wordpress and pickup a nice review theme from themeforest with star, percentage, and score ratings. The results will be night and day.

I have a blog review site, and I am able to add Meta words for each post individually. All my posts(reviews) can be located on the front(or home) page of the site, but they also each have their own individual links as well. I am not sure how it would work with weebly, but on wordpress there are many different plug-ins which let you modify the on-page SEO for each blog post on your site.

For Review site Self Hosted & Authority Extension like .COM/.NET work best.
But if you target any specific country it would be better use the country extension Like .US for USA/.CA for Canada.

I will check out retailmenot and look into getting site for myself and look into wordpress more. I heard a lot about wordpress, and weebly just seemed super simple. I appreciate the input and plan to utilize everything I learn. All feedback received in my opinion is positive. I appreciate the honesty here too.

Probably wont be able to pick me up a site until my next paycheck as I have bills and rent coming out right now. Plus I think my lady just spent a couple hundred on clothes.
