Hey All,
Not new to digital marketing, but need a second opinion on my website.
My current website has been around for a while and has a generic multipurpose WordPress theme which has always been fairly slow.
However, since moving to a new host, adding WPRocket and a new CDN, it's increased a lot, but the Google Insight speeds are pretty bad, especially mobile.
Before starting business back up, i've made a new GeneratePress website and in comparison the speeds are astronomical. Especially with the CDN.
I've attached the key metrics below to a (very badly) edited image. My questions are:
1) How important do you think Google Insights are to SEO given that the site still loads fast, it's just built like garbage to the insight tool.
2) Do you think this could also affect PPC?
3) Would you personally use Site 1 or Site 2?
Site 1 is the GeneratePress website (Fast & Basic, one page design with basic overview of who I am, services offered and reviews + live chat)
Site 2 is the current website (Slow & in-depth, multi page website with portfolio, reviews and services pages + live chat)
