    Hey guys!
I know this is something people talked about a couple years ago, and if you had your website link in a bunch of YouTube descriptions Google ranked your website much higher.
I heard that it doesn't work as well now, but would putting your website link in the description of a real video increase your website's rank in search at least a little bit?

Has anyone tried this (within the past 6 months) and seen if this works?
    Thanks!

I tested this with links to another YouTube video around 3 months ago and I believe I saw improvement in ranking on YouTube because of it. I haven't tried it on a website with Google though.

Yes. I have also tried this method and got some positive results. It was not too big a change but an improvement, nevertheless.

If you have a good click ratio yes. If nobody click that link in the description Google will not increase your ranking.

Absolutely Yes, As we all know that youtube is among the second biggest search engine in the world and traffic source. If you use your website url with optimized title tag and proper description in youtube video's you will definitely get a positive result in serp.
