Website keyword ranking issue

Hi warriors.

I need a help from you guys. I started my site in 2011. last 2 years i was away from updating site. So, at that time keyword rank was dropped. What i want to know is, can i rank my site again or its a waste of my time?
If you are expert in SEO please analyze my site and give a help.
Is this possible to rank?

No it's not matter when you have registered your site. The main thing you'll now need to do is reSEO your effort & build backlinks for it so it'll rank higher.
 
You can still rank, why not?

But keep in mind that anything related to "how to make money blogging" is very competitive, so you can still try, but don't expect miracles, as it's a very over-saturated niche.
 
If anything it might rank better because it has domain age. However, it will still take alot of work to rebuild link juice. Also yeah its a tough niche.

don't make a new one ... try to reactivate the old one ... its easier

There is no unsaturated niche. It's about the keywords you target.
 
Having an older site is actually quite a large advantage, it looks more authoritative to Google. I would start adding some new content, redesign that horrific theme and start increasing/building a social presence. Build some backlinks and you should be just dandy. You are still getting comments and so people are clearly still reading. You should have no problem making your site large and ranking for lots of old and new keywords if you just put some effort in.

And for gods sake burn that theme.

There are more not indexed and de-indexed old articles. Whats shall i do for it ? just edit it or remove and publish a fresh article with same topic ?
 
domain age matter most in ranking, dont use new domain if you have old one.

if your ranking was dropped due to no content update, no backlink for years, then you can just buy some content and backlink to start again.
 
Just focus on creating some helpful content then start building backlinks to your root page & then blog posts, add social media icons to your blog, start email marketing & then see the result. But make sure to use eligible way to build backlinks because in a wrong way, you can lose your domain reputation in the eyes' of Google.

Oh really, so targeting weight loss keywords is the same competition-wise as targeting keywords about building a shed?

They both may be established niches, but no matter how long-tail you go with your keywords for the weight loss niche, you'll have to beat tons of more websites to get to #1 for whatever terms you are targeting compared to any shed keywords.
