Website is bouncing all over the place

So, i have a 2 months old website, and i keep track of about 50 keywords with a serp tracker that shows the top 300 positions. Every couple of days different keywords either enter or exit the top 300 randomly. Is this normal?

yeah its normal, at the starting keywords change their position frequently.

During the first few months that your website is conceived, it's not uncommon for your rankings to "bounce around". The reason for this is stated in the video below (if you don't want to watch it, then I can sum up the video bv saying that it's because Google is still learning about your site):

So Matt is saying that 'point of original origin' is relevant? That goes along with what he's said before now. And it makes sense as a site that breaks news should rank higher as it's likely one that has a first hand source, rather than a start up blog that is just re-reporting the news.

This is a very normal occurrence. Google knows your website is relevant to the search queries but is unsure on which ranking you should be assigned right now. In about 2 weeks I'd say your site should settle on where it needs to be based off its current metrics.

The best thing you can do in that two weeks waiting time is to keep adding very good indepth and original content that enhances the site. Review and edit existing pages so that each one contains the most valuable content possible for the keywords being targeted. When the dust settles, hopefully Google will view the site in question as more authoritative than some that are dealing with outdated and stagnant information.

That's right. Don't worry too much about this. This is quite normal. At the top of Google results, many sites would be bunched together as per their metrics. So, this kind of fluctuation is common for new sites. If you want to pull away from the group, you may consider adding lots of more content to your site. That will enhance your pageviews and ranking quickly. Of course, adding new content quickly can be a challenge. You may consider using freelance work for building content. You could try a site like Contentmart. You will find good quality content at very reasonable prices on such sites.

This is normal.. sometimes it never stops.. i have a site that is a few years old and my competitors which is a few years old... my site is DA 29; we bounce on a daily basis and it never stops... it's been like this for a few years too. Constant dancing

I read that it may have something to do with Google's datacenters and which one it's using.. you can search one and be #10 and search one second after and be like #15 etc...
