Website Index Question Please Read

Hi all,

I have recently started 2 new sites on expired domains which are strong and zero spam. (8 months old) and (6 months old) One site has 120 articles and only 48 are indexed all quiality. The other site has 330 articles and only 40 indexed and the site only ranks for its brand name. Has anyone got any advice on how to get the other pages to index. Should I use the api trick or paid indexers? Will that hurt the sites in the long run? These are long term white hat sites. I have built links to both since starting but it has been very very slow going. I will attach images of each as well. Also, I have submitted sitemaps to both bing and google. Bing will not index the site with 330 articles on it at all, so any ideas on that would be helpful too. Thanks guys.

Are you sure these domains are not spammed in the past? Have you checked the way back machine history? Many times the domain appears clean for most of the part but for few months it was spammed or redirected or used for adult sites that we miss to check.

Alright, lets agree that the domain is clean. So here are some basic checks -

- Have you interlinked the pages well?
- Have you shared the posts on social platforms like Twitter, Pinterest and Facebook?
- Have you tried submitting the pages manually in GSC console?
- If yes then do they get crawled and indexed?
- Do they get de-indexed again in few days?

100% not spammed. But some of the posts did get indexed initially and then dropped so id say like initial index was like 100 posts then dropped over the last few months down to 40-50ish. Would using a paid indexer hurt the site you think? or is it worth a shot? I still honestly feel like the site is in the sandbox phase.

Personally speaking I do not prefer indexing services. I believe it is unnatural to push hundreds and thousands of pages to Google and expect it to index it. But that is me. There are many professionals here who believe otherwise. I do not say they are wrong. It is absolutely not a question of right or wrong, it is just a matter of choice and approach. How much risk do you want to take for your site (or do you believe it is a risk at all?)

It's all up to you.

That is true. I do not know how 'link index' services work as far as how do they get the posts to index. That would be the deciding factor. I think for now ill give it another month or so to see if anything happens. If anyone else reads this an has insite please comment and help a brother out. I have resubmitted a new xml sitemap to both google and bing.

I prefer manual indexing rather than paid. As you have submitted sitemap to google and bing wait for few days and decide bro.

Couple of suggestions

Use both xml and html sitemaps

Create smaller xml site maps.

Use google properties to run “checks” on your webpages. I have found previously things like doing speed checks on an individual page has helped them index.

Social links can help as well. Tweet your article and use relevant hashtags (Search the hash tag first and see if it appears in google search results).
