    Where is the best place to go to get my website checked so i can see if it needs anything changed for it to rank in search engines?

    You can download an SEO toolbar like-seo quake......these are absolutely free and when you downloaded this tool you can get all your site related informations...like rank,keyword density and much more. Try this. :)

    Hire a SEO expert to analyze it. however, there is no real rules to what it takes to rank, or no "exact" answer for that matter. Why does it matter how much you have to still link build? Just get 10k links, then wait a week and check ranks, then decide if you should do it again, etc.
