Hope your all doing well and everything is cool, I wanted to ask something regarding my chances in a market and the SEO and Google rankings aspect of a website in question.
There is a keyword I want to get ranked for, apparently gets 300,000 searches a month, according to Google keyword tool not to mention the other related terms.
Until recently my website came from no where, to 12 page on google for that keyword, then after adding some content it jumped to 8th page, and then 6th page, but now I cannot find it on any of the google pages.
I tried to be legitimate as possible, didn't spam in anyway and uploaded unique content hence the website is still in the making and its coming along slow since I have to write up a few more factual articles and a lot of research is needed.
Anyway long story short, what are my chances?
Most important what may have been the reason for the site to go up from 12th, to 8th, to 6th page and then disappear when no changes have been content wise?
Is this a normal thing that the ranking fluctuate? considering I havent updated site for a while, maybe 3 weeks.
Also note, I don't know how important this is, but I have a forum which had the same issue, does one website relate and interfere in anyway to other websites on same server, strictly speaking considering everything is done according to how it should be.
What can I do to get on that first page and hopefully get a share of those 300,000 searches?
