Website gets no traffic after 3 months

I have successfully built a website and brand over the last 4 years, that site now sees over 250k users a year and is successful.

3 months ago I tried to start another on the side and here we are 36 articles in, about 20 unique users total have reached the site. I just don't know what it is.

The website is built nice, free of errors and the content is the same. I just don't know how to get it off the ground now.

Is backlinks pivotal for getting that jump start or what?

I do not have social listings, I just launched my listings on Bing and GMB so hoping that bumps it up.

How could we know too? You provided zero information on your GSC, PSI, niche and etc. I mean you should understand what's going on if you have already run some websites before...
