I've just noticed that when I click the share button on my website (and have tested a few others today), the audience is set to "Only Me" by default. I'm not sure if this is new or not?

My questions are:

1 - Has this only recently changed/roughly how long has it been like this?
2 - Is there a way to make it default to public/friends?

did you select "only me" last time when you shared something or tested something out? In general facebook save your selection as preselection for the next time you want to share something.

Yes, you're making all posts private by default. There's this setting on a global level in your FB settings and you can set it by post too. Now you must set all previous posts to public one by one.

Thanks fellas. I had hoped this was a default for all users and by modifying it I'd get some additional exposure ;)
