    Hi guys,

At the moment I am experiencing major changes in Google visitors. Untill now, I had like 80-100 visitors via Google a day. Today I reached 300 visitors via Google in an hour. All visitors seem to come from the US, Brazil, France etc. And my website is in Dutch. Am I under attack? Why would someone do this? What is the point? This only ruins my stats, right, so what's the point? Bounce rate = 99%!

I've got no advertisements on the website, so fake-clicking can't be the thing.

Most probably just bots. Check where exactly are they coming from (referral most probably) and then block that referral source from your analytics :)

It's just spam, bots I wouldn't worry about unless you want to filter it out. just randoms hitting random analytics codes

You are getting botted/automated traffic for sure.
Block the referring source for some time or put site offline for some time and check again.

It's bots and we all get them.
    3 main things:
    1. Comment spammers - bots come to your site trying to comment or post their shit on your website.
    2. Direct spam traffic - it's when they register a visit from a website so you see it in your traffic logs and hopefully visit then (lots of russian websites there).
    3. Google spam - it's the worst one (my view) as they are running bots which search google for particular terms and visit your site to increase your bounce rate and at the same time visit their own website and stay on their website. There's a lot written that "supposedly" google rely more on bounce rate now and that's what some people do, they try to sky rocket your bounce rate and make their website stand as the best one. My experience so far is that google are not that stupid and discount those fake visits (but again... it's only my opinion).
