Website disappeared from Google search?

HOME url disappeared from google search but other pages from this website show up in google search
No manual actions in Google Search Console
Used High Authority backlinks last couple years: Forbes, jewishjournal, goodmanproject....
Is backlinks were reasons to disappear from Google search?

Some questions are:
- what did you do onsite in the past few weeks
- same question offsite
- is homepage main page or do you have important money pages.

I have seen homepage disappear and come back, quite weird. It could be that google is testing you to see your next move? I know it sounds far-fetched, but I think they do such testing.

Also 1 week ago switched from http to https
1. Onsite did minor optimization for few posts not home page few days ago.
2. 5 days ago got big backlink from Forbes and aproximately same time from knoxvillesoap and 2 weeks from TGdaily and every week from high authority sites DA40-60, all linked to homepage
3. Homepage is main page. Other minor pages and posts.
Yeah. Sometimes i notice serp jump for 12-24 hours and then come back to normal. But this time when i search for homepage url it does not show up, not to mention homepage does not show up at any keywords.

It can be because of the backlinks to your website. maybe you have given spam and not-related backlinks to your website. And maybe your website has been google penalty. you can search for this one.

Not spammy but definitely a lot not-related backlinks

It could have been a result of the http to https change. I've seen that happen before.
