Hey,

My website pornhumor .c-o-m was listed on page 2 in google when you searched for the keyword "pornhumor" a few days ago. But now for some reason now its not showing up at all, I went through 10 pages of google and nothing. It only comes out when you search for "pornhumor .c-o-m" in google.

Any ideas what caused this, or how I can fix it?

Could be a penalty. Have you checked Webmaster tools? It might also just be dancing if you built some links but can return like normal.

Thanks for the reply, I checked webmaster tools and dont see any removed links or anything like that. What part of webmaster tools can I check to sure sure I was not penalized. Btw what does the dancing around mean?

website is adult, so you might got penalty.

Pretty much all website that are on the first page of the results to "porn humor" are adult websites so I doubt that's a reason for a penalty

I see your site mid third page... about position 36 for "pornhumor". Don't stress straight away if you don't see it for a search, leave it a day or so and check back - sometimes things move about or drop out for short time but pop back in (that's the dance!)

On the left tabs, under Search Traffic, click on Manual Actions. If you've been manually penalized this is where it would appear. Algorithmic penalties don't show up here I believe.

Dancing just refers to an unstable position in the SERPs (jumping up or down or disappearing completely), usually the result of link building, but it usually stabilizes eventually.

Google has been behaving strangely lately, I think that something has changed how they evaluate links, I've noticed all kinds of weirdo behavior, some of my pages had disappeared from serp for days on end only to come back with lower rank and eventually later on the rank had improved. All the pages that experienced that 'weirdo behavior' had one thing in common, link building, I think that I build too many too fast. But that's my best guess, I could be wrong too. Anyway, give it some time to see if it will come back. All the best!

Edit: P.S. On my end you're on the second page, so I think that you can rule out penalty. Just a google dance.

Sounds like you don't have a penalty. log out of your google account and try the search again. Linking on your twitter account is not the kind of link building these guys are talking about.

There it is, but my google search is set up to 20 results per page, so for other people it could be on page 3 or 4. But it is still there.
