Website created....So what next?

Hi guys,

Looking at some advice here. I just have managed to get my site launched and is a news automated website.

I was wondering what advice you guys got and can point me in the right direction? I am a newbie in terms of this site and if there is any tools or sources i can use to my advantage, that be much appreciated.

Bad idea man, won't rank well.

I know what your thinking but its something I am thinking outside the box with. Thought i give it a shot, as i do have some ideas to generate traffic but looking at getting good SEO and looking at steps in getting this done.

You make a site with NO plan on how to get it to the number one spot, and then you come here to ask about what is next. Go take that trash down, make a quality site and then finally you can have a solid plan to rank your site. Other than that, use total black hat methods to rank a autoblog and earn as much as you can before you get slapped.

Start adding content and linkbuilding. Your site is worth nothing if you get 0 traffic to it.

Thanks for the advice. Rank as a autoblag is there anyway you can point to me any guides regarding this or sources?

The truth is, before you launch a site you should already have an idea of what you want to do.

At this point it looks like you are lost and for an automated news site, i wonder how it works, maybe copy news from top sites and post to yours or what..

Many of the top news site you know never derive their substantial traffic from Google or the search engines, it's usually from the outside world.

Brand your site, have a nice site design and layout, publish hot news and don't forget to use social media to build your fan base and above all update them everyday with the current happenings..

Forget about trying to rank your site because it doesn't work for news site that way, just do your on site SEO and forget about the off site, it's not for you..

Focus on unique content. Use real news but type it out yourself. You will not do well if you use copied content.
