Website.com/blog

I'm wanting to have my homepage eg: www.website.com be a landing/squeeze page, but then after an opt-in, be able to send a visitor over to the blog...i've looked everywhere and can't seem to find how to accomplish this. I have leadpages, dunno if there's a way to have that happen with leadpages or not.

Maybe it's better to just do a blog set-up like how franklin hatchett has his onlinedimes.com site?
