Website Changes Advice Needed

Guys, I,ve just added some new content to a few of my sites and just wanted to get some advice on what i should do next so the search engines will see the changes, should i ping it? bookmark? or submit a link somewhere? help please

You can digg the site and submit one or two articles. Those should pick your site up quickly.
