How a website can be ranked with only 1 post in homepage. Nothing else, no other post, no mandatory page. Even he used kw spam in that article over 40 times.

There's some technical issues with Google right now.
I'm seeing those classic spam pages, plain html, with h1 tags and tons of generated text in between ranking top for many queries.
They're fixing some issues recently so wait up until their next update.
