Website based on youtube channels - my expirience

I think this method of getting views is underrated. The idea is old like shit - I created a website based on some youtube channels, worked with seo and it appeared on google with 100 visitors a day and it is growing. People ask, for example, "How to replace LG Leon screen" and go to my website, where they watch video and even jump to channel. Youtube has good API which allows you to automatically show new videos on page. So why people are looking for ideas only within Youtube? There are more cheap instruments to get subscribers. Look at the stat screen.

Also one friend of mine told me that if website page with some video gains good place at google search results page, the video gets higher position on youtube itself.
