One of the issues I've never been able to figure out (until today) was Facebook reasoning behind the bans of legit websites
The classic dreaded message:
I've never been sure, how to "unban" this, although, some of my sites were banned and unbanned in a while. Some suggest just reporting, but I'm not sure if this makes anything at all. I think sometimes is a matter of time (long time, maybe 3 or 4 months, who knows)
But better preventing than healing, I think that I've found (one) of the most common issues that could end in site ban: Reports by Group Admins.
Scenario: one of the classic methods to get some people coming to your site, could be going into different groups and posting the URL. Essentially a "manual" method to bypass the FB ads and reach sometimes, to a huge amount of people
Generally, I've been doing a lot of different post with different sites in different groups and FB pages, but I've found one thing in common that has (with a 99% of confidence) made some of my sites receive a ban over the time: posting in others groups, and (probably I suspect) being reported by Admins.
Conclusion:
Never expose an URL if you are posting in other's groups. Get some intermediate URL that can be ditched although it forces a double click on the users to reach the content.
Cloaking can be useful, if one is dealing with "hairy" content.
But if the site is legit, although it could be on the risk of being reported, I'm truly starting to believe that things have to be the other way around: maximum prevention instead of healing, that is pretty harsh when dealing with this massive impersonal SM realms.
