website after google penalty

about 1,5 month ago my website got penalty. Before it happened, the webiste was ranked on the top 5 for many keywords. So i removed all my SAPE links. After 2 review request, google stopped manual actions. It was 2 weeks ago and i am still waiting for my website back to the 1 page. for 2 weeks its ranked at the end of the 100. and what is strange, almost all backlinks disappeared in webmaster tools.

I need some suggestions. what can i do? still wait?

That is it, if you start disavow or link removal then you gotta know that you are bound to lose a great deal of ranking.

The next line of action is to build quality links from relevant domains with original content.

Well, when G removed your penalty and removed the backlinks from your linking profile it is normal your site to go nowhere in the rankings. Now think up a good linkbuilding strategy only on high quality pages that will bring you up to the top again

When this happens it is a two stage process to recover. Many people think once they disavow the links the website should
be back to normal in it's rankings but this is false. It is false for the simple reason you have no links now. You are starting
back at the drawing board and need to kiss Googles butt with some decent unique content and new, better links.

The penalty may have been lifted, but you have to remember that you probably don't have any links pointing at your site anymore which was what was driving your original rankings. If you build new links, you will most likely begin to see your site begin to rank again.

...and your new link building strategy would need to be 95% anchor free - meaning no SEO anchors, naked URL or brand name

I have an old site and its been a earner for 7 years i havent updated it in 3 years. the onle way i check on it is to look at my paypal and transfer money evey few months. I had a drop in income from it -O crap I have to actualy do somthing with it. so I cleaned it up took out dead links updated the meta tags added the about me, site index etc... and its back to earning again and my trafic is up 3x. some times you can fix probles just by taking care of the basics.
