Website about quotes?

Hello,
Is it profitable to make a website about quotes? like "life quotes", "letting go quotes".. in GKP the suggested bids are very high and the competition is low, also the monthly searches are xxxx smetimes xxxxxx.

Plz advice me, my first website failed miserably.

if monthly searches are XXXX...I think you should go with that Idea~!

However, before starting that out, read the moneymaking section, you may find something better ;)
 
The problem with this kind of sites is that it comes with duplicate content, so i think it will be a hard to rank.
 
I understand, but i find weird that 'hemingway quotes --> $34.39'.., it looks promising for adsense.
 
3 years ago I've made a "love quotes" website. I've sold it when the website was 6 months old but the website ranked incredibly well with only on page seo so I suggest to give it a try.

Here are some stats after 6 months:

- 2500+ quotes on the website (in multiple languages)
- 400+ daily visitors
- €3+ adsense / day

I've even start to have some people posting (naturally) some "unique" love quotes.

Website was not Wordpress (I don't know if this may have something to do)

Are the 2500+ quotes are copied from some other source?
With the duplicated content can we able to earn $3/day through adsense?

Is this really possible?
 
Even if it was/is profitable, you just gave away any exclusivity with this thread.
 
you would get lots of traffic from Twitter + Pinterest with doing a site like this, just need loads of accounts
 
Especially since you are more than likely dealing with almost pure duplicate content (at least to start) your SEO is going to rely heavily on social signals. I have seen similar sites do well with just social signals, but I would slather that site with all social plugins, and even try to buy some decent shares, likes, +1's, tweets/retweets from decent accounts, ect. Maybe even look to buy a few FB pages of similar interest to get things moving.

i have a pictures with quotes " motivational " for sale OP let me know if you need some of them they are over 5 k :) o used them for my facebook page
