Webmaster Tools Shows 13 Backlinks... Ahrefs and SEMRush show 200+?

I purchased a domain at auction with awesome backlinks about a year ago.

I threw up some content and went to focus on my other sites for a year.

Just checked up on the purchased domain and only 13 backlinks show up in GWT. But Semrush and ahrefs show hundreds.

What is going on?? How can I fix this? I tried some indexing services and link pyramids a few months ago but that didn't do anything.

No need to fix this. Google always show less links as compared to those link checkers. No need to worry, just carry on with content and links.
 
I know that Google should count fewer typically, but 13 vs 200+ seems like a huge difference... Too big a difference to be natural...
 
Two possible things?

Someone wrote a huge disvow file.

Filtered by the new E A T censorship guideline. Depending on the niche of the site and the links, they may be in the Cyber blackhole.
 
It's a hunting website. Would EAT filter backlinks from sites in hunting?
 
Just because webmaster shows less links doesn't mean google don't know about your links. As long as the pages where your backlinks are present - are indexed, its fine.

For checking your links, ahrefs or majestic is a good option.
 
I would not worry so much about it, there is not so much you can do... Just to believe that the reduced number is a sample.
 
It's Opposite for me..in GWT its 200+ but in ahrefs its 50+ ..
