Ok, I am trying to properly SEO my site with the big G and I am using wordpress these are the errors that I am seeing under webmaster tools:

    Duplicate meta descriptions 626
    Long meta descriptions 7
    Short meta descriptions 76

And I cannot find any information on how this affects my page rank (if it does at all) nor how to fix it, with a wordpress plugin ETC. I would like it all to be automatic because the site I am running is an autoblog of sorts.

Also I have another problem with Duplicate Title Tags, but I found a plugin that deletes them... Is there a way to run something such as a cron job in order to automate this so it will be a little more hands off in deleting duplicate title posts?

Thanks in advance for advice, will give thanks for more information as well :D

I found a plugin that claims it will automate deletion of multiple title posts but... they want to charge $50 for it, pretty pricy for something so seemingly simple.

Anyone know a workaround for this, and possibly my other HTML errors :D?

Give rel=nofollow to your tags. maybe you can set the deindex on tag page too. I use a simple google sitemap xml generator to do this job. :)

I am using my sitemap generator plugin and all in one seo so I am not going to allow indexing of tags anymore, ill make sure to update on status and see how long it takes until they drop those pages and penalties.

    Thanks again!
