Webmaster tools : error detected when sitemap submitted

Hi guys- this is the second thread on this topic but I trust only BHW members to know what is it rahter than searching on goo gl's help center:
For those of you who have no clue about what I'm talking about here is a short summary: I changed my domain from http://mydomain.com to http://www.mydomain.com on the GENERAL SETTINGS section in wordpress admin - I did it for WordPress address (URL) AND Site address (URL) (what's the difference?)
Webmaster tools gave me this when I submited the sitemap.xml :
Paths don't match
We've detected that you submitted your Sitemap using a URL path that doesn't include the www prefix (for instance, http://example.com/sitemap.xml). However, the URLs listed inside your Sitemap do use the www prefix (for instance, http://www.example.com/myfile.htm).

THE PROBLEM IS: The submitted URL count is 22 , where the indexed URLs count is fu#$ing "0" they were all indexed before I did this poor mistake

You just need to make sure your XML sitemap usage of with-www versus non-www fits with your website (permanent redirect one to the other) + fits with GWT settings for preferred domain.

The indexed URLs count resetting to 0 is not necessarily reflection of true situation.

Basicly submit two sitemaps with same URLs. Then delete/re-add it. Result: One sitemap have all URLs indexed, other have zero. But the URLs in the two are the same...

hi thanks, would you recomend deleting the xmlsitemap and creating a new one instead?
