Webmaster Tools a Trap?

Analytics is more of a trap than Webmaster tools. When you do the verification process for Webmaster tools, you just have to add a meta tag, upload an html file or add a DNS record. Thus no javascript codes are embedded on your site and it is pretty much safe since they can't track anymore than what they can without it. But Analytics gives away everything (on-page stats) to them - on page time, bounce rate, etc. Using neither of these tools can help Google determine your backlinks.
