Hello everybody yesterday i got email from google wabmaster. The Email was that:-Over the last 24 hours, Googlebot encountered 20 errors while attempting to access your robots.txt. To ensure that we didn't crawl any pages listed in that file, we postponed our crawl. Your site's overall robots.txt error rate is 74.1%.

So tell me what i do to sort out that problem fast is that can be serious issue with my site mean there will affect on my site ranking or other loss. share your suggestion thanx .

Is your site even up? You may want to consider changing hosts, as I suspect you're just having a lot of downtime.

If Google can't access your site's robots.txt, your site is likely down.

You can use this tool to check your robots.txt and it will give you a place to start and try fix the problem. tool.motoricerca.info/robots-checker.phtml

OP, I had this problem recently and I couldn't find a definitive cause for it.
If there is no problem with your site or hosting then I would suggest signing into WMT and "Fetch as Google" then wait 24 Hours, after 24 hours try again.

May be your site was down for a while or perhaps something changed. Nothing serious, its all automated from the part of google. Check everything and fix any errors.
