Hi guys,

I am having a really bad experience with one hosting provider - Webhostingpad.com. They are tryin to scam me with $70. I ma writing this to try to protect other webmasters being burned by them. So here is what happened:

Two days ago I purchased a hosting account with Webhostingpad.com and payed them $70.52 via paypal.
A few hour later I received a letter from them, saying that I have to fill and sign a document in which I agree webhosting pad to charge my credit card and paypal account. In addition I had to send them a photo of my ID card.

I replied that I already payed them and I do not agree my credit card or pay pal account to be charged. I also didn't want to send a copy of my ID card to them, so I requested my money back. They have 30 day money back guarantee.

After I sent the mail asking for a refund and cancellation of my order, they stopped replying to my mails. I tried to reach them via live chat, but after I told them the number of my order, they closed the connection. I tried a few more times to open a new connection and I couldn't! I have been more than 2 days they haven't replied and this is huge period of time for any self respecting hosting comapny...

So I made a search for "webhostingpad scam" (link to search results) and there were many results confirming my fears. They are SCAMMERS. They scammed me with $70 bucks.

(OP thought I might be talking about him so I added this to clarify I am talking about the loser that runs webhostingpad)

That sawed off little prick held me hostage for 2 years on a couple projects I eventually abandoned since talking sense to an idiot isn't possible.

He is the most arrogant, lying, pompous, piece of love child I have ever had the poor luck to encounter.

Damn it's hard not to swear when you're really upset. I hope you can all read between the lines though.

they like just turnoff your hosting account, no emails or warnings.

Yeah it's like some bored kid running the site and when he sees traffic he just kills your site and deletes your files and waits for you to beg to be reinstated for the rest of the balance of the prepaid term.

Guys, please help to stop these creepy insects scamming other people!
I created a blog, please share it, or put a link to it, even for a month or two! I will do the same!

I really hate scammers!!!

Whenever someone tries to scam you - fill out a dispute with paypal or ask your bank to initiate a chargeback.

You CAN defend your rights and money, and your bank or paypal they both will help you when they see that there are no replies from another company

Also, everything "unlimited" is false advertising
