To any of webhostingpad's advertisers:

I recently purchased a 5 years subscription for a client of mine in order to host her site there.

Cleaned cookies, reached the site via a review site of ours, checked the cookies individually form firefox's privacy settings, and didn't register with a discount - Everything seemed cool.

They use iDevDirect which is crap, and may be able to blame this on the software, but the sale was NOT tracked and commission never granted.
Moreover.. They never respond to affiliate tickets, I have one from the blackfriday, a week old - No one responds there.

I've posted before about them, but their hosting is affordable for a single client site and the payout is fair (I get $100, or at least suppose to). So I gave them another chance.

Don't promote them, you will be leaving money on the table.

I was just looking into them for a review site of mine, I think I'll pass on them now. This is why I love BHW, always easy to do a search and find other peoples experiences so you don't have to get screwed.

Sorry that you had to go through it though.

I had a very bad experience with them. Just remove them, they SUX they just SCAM their own affiliates. I have even called them and they sux even more at phone. Please do a favor for yourself and do not promote Webhostingpad.

By the way, that was 2 years ago... and it seems that today they have scammed more affiliates.

Don't put them. I get paid from time to time, but I do no active promotion and I bet I have 300% extra commissions owned that weren't even tracked.

True story:

I once asked their affiliate rep for a discount code I can put on one of my sites..
They gave me a code, 15OFF I think and said it would track conversions.

- A month later with 0 earnings I contact them and ask -They respond that the coupon my users used is a default code that doesn't track my sales.
- I asked.. but (whatever the name was) told me to use it.
- They respond - I don't know why (Whatever the name is) told you that - He no longer works in the webhostingpad though.

And PS - If your visitors buy a hosting plan with a discount popup.. you lose the sale.. it's in their terms... Unfortunately that's a standard in this strange industry.

Amazing... Just amazing.
