Webhost that doesn't require a verifcation call

I know HostGator does and I can't be bothered with it - what other hosts are there where I can order hosting and have it within minutes??

is this something new with hostgator? i only noticed it just the other day when i got another account that they did that but like 3 weeks ago when i got two reseller accounts they didn't call on either of them.... i thought maybe this time was cause i tried out the little penny plan lol....but i don't think many others do really...don't really know any others that do...and have used a variety of them myself.....dreamhost [don't really like it much though], mypowerhost [slow imo], and various random hosts, but still think hostgator is just too simple easy......maybe they only verify once you setup a new account, if you add packages to your login maybe they don't [i just realized as i wrote this that I had created a whole other billing account just for this new plan i bought and perhaps is why they hadn't called me before on the other plans I had added to my other billing account]

Most hosting does not require this. Some of them may ask you for a copy of drivers license if you want to have ssh access. But verification call is out of the norm.

Have a look at Iplus digital. i've never had a verification call from them and ive been up to lots of dodgy stuff.

Is this new in HG? I never been called when signing up with them...maybe coz Im in the US? Just wonder what they do that for...don't get it...

they always call when the IP address and the specified address conflict geographically.
