Did anyone try working with Webflow for clients? I have solid HTML and CSS knowledge, and some JS, and I'm thinking of offering low-cost web design services to small business owners. Webflow would, in theory, allow me to create the websites faster, but their hosting prices are off-putting...

That's the reason I never went with webflow too. I couldnt justify the hosting costs and HATE services that have so much control over where you host your product.

I use oxygen builder now. Highly recommended

Yeah, I like the product and it would fit nicely with my workflow, but the pricing is just...

Thanks for the recommendation, I never tried Oxygen before.

Webflow is LOVE. I'm seeing decade old wordpress web development agencies switching to "WebFlow" only agencies. There's a market for people who don't mind paying a premium for something prettier and easier. Webflow is bound to become like Shopify - catering to the premium clients who can afford such services.

I totally agree with you on that one. Webflow is a great webpage builder but the hosting issue is off-putting as you said. There is a YT channel called 'RaidLucky' who has a video called "Export Webflow Website for free 2021 and remove badge." This explains how to export the code from a free Webflow account and remove the "Made with Webflow" badge from the code. From there, you can upload your CSS and JS/HTML files to whichever host you prefer. Sorry, I would leave you the link, but I'm just a lowly newbie.

Thanks, you made me revisit Webflow :D I tested it and it basically works, but you still lose ecom and cms functionality, so you're left with static pages, for example landing pages...

On the other hand, has anyone figured a workaround on how to copy/paste a component from a read-only project? That would be nice ;)
