A big part of this is probably because I'm a big fan of web 3 gaming and what it can be, but I believe that crypto gaming projects are about to become even more of a big deal.

We’re seeing better-quality games now, not just basic play-to-earn models. Unlike the first GameFi wave, these new projects focus on gameplay first, then adding on the crypto layer.

There are even other projects that are taking tradable in game assets to the next level, projects like Cross ensure everything from gold to swords can become tradable digital assets, and it's so new it hasn't even listed yet.

I don't want to get my hopes hope too much, but this new wave of games might just change the current narrative of GamefI.

I remember “Metaverse” gaming being a thing back in ‘21, previous cycle. There were also a couple decent p2e games that were pretty playable, not horrible gameplay - sadly it never really lifted off.

As a fan of gaming it pains me to admit that this is the state of things right now, I just really hope that these new games coming out can help that cause.

I’m with you —early GameFi felt rushed and mostly hype. But lately I’ve seen a few titles that actually look like games people would play without the token incentives. That’s the shift we needed.

If a game’s fun first and monetization is optional, it might finally win real gamers over. Curious to see how Cross handles tradable assets if they get it right, that could set a new standard for Web3 gaming.

Can you give me an example of a couple of decent games?
