How quickly should I start building backlinks to my WEB20's? I normally start almost immediately, but I'm thinking this is probably not natural and waiting for a few days (maybe weeks) is probably best.

Has anyone tested this out?

When you start doesn't matter as much as frequency after you start

Well I keep the pace pretty consistent thanks to GSA. But doesn't it look very unnatural to have links pointing a WEB20 immediately after its created!

My Anecdotal Evidence : I've started a blog, performed no SEO, and had posts copied and pasted as spun backlinks an hour after it went live.

You should wait as long as you feel comfortable, but always keep in the back of your mind how a bacteria or ideas spread around.

Google has no clue when the web2.0 was created. It will most likely find your web2.0 for the first time as it follows the link to your site. Whether you wait 2 weeks or wait 2 minutes, Google is going to show up to the site and say "huh, didn't know about this site, now I do". That's when it is born.

Just be concerned with the link velocity ... 300 backlinks and then nothing afterwards = red flag to Google. You're better off with 1 link a day than a big bunch and then nothing.

For link velocity, I just build a *few* (4-5) links a day for a long period of time. No link blasts or anything like that!

I like the suggestion about the scrapers. Need to claim my content ASAP!

Cheers guys!

first make accounts of web2.0s and leave for some days or post an sample article without any link then ping your web2.0s and after some days post content with link.

Then leave the and then after some days or week make the Diversity backlinks to it's works :)

Absolutely. I don't insert links until at least a month and a few unique articles have been posted.

I have never had any problems starting a couple of days after registration and setting up hosting. You have to have some content though, duh! Min 5 pages of original content is enough (1000 word articles with images and proper On-Page SEO).

Web 2.0 websites like Tumblr, Blogspot, Wordpress, etc. are good. Their authority can help us get ranked in google. The important thing is to add unique content everytime to get the most from them.

I start 1 month after my site has been launched....1 month I focus on manual blog comment and social media..

you can start with web 2.0 immediately..get the web 2.0 indexed, matured and after one month put your links..
