Web SERP Checker

I've been working on a web-based SERP checker, I want to find out if there is any demand for this...

Each user can create/delete categories, and there is also a "share link".

The share link feature is a unique URL the user can share with someone (for example a client). It lets them see what you see, except there are no permissions.

Beautiful charts integrated into it

If you would like to use it you can, however right now I only have enough private proxies for myself, so you'd have to add your own (private) proxies for it as of right now.

Definitely as long as its reliable.

Here's the big problem though. Pricing.

Don't overprice it. There are too many of these types of rank checkers that charge an INSANE amount, frankly a ridiculous amount.

For example - I need to track hundreds of sites but not necessarily thousands of keywords. Most charge based on sites, regardless of keywords. That screws people over like me that have more sites but not a billion keywords. You know?

I've yet to find one that's priced correctly.

I would be interested. Can you track from different locations (google.com, google Uk etc)?

The problem with these rankings is how to choose the country for which you want to see the results. Right now you say that it depends on proxies. If I was targeting Italy I would like to see my rankings for Italy without actually trying to find an Italian proxy myself! This is quite hard to accomplish for now. Cute Rank has been good with this although it takes forever to check positions for 10+ keywords in 3 search engines in 10 countries!

Not at the moment, but I'll add that in. Using a US proxy searching google.it will show the same results as using an italy proxy searching google.it right?

I'm actually working on something similar. Get rid of those super-huge images (refresh, stats, delete) and it would look prettier than mine currently does

Why are you using private proxies instead of shared proxies?
I thought shared are better for scraping google.

What program are you using to do your graphing? They look quite nice.

Thanks, have you found the perfect refresh/check rate with proxies yet? How many searches in how many minutes to get the most searches without bans?

I guess they both work, but sometimes others use the shared proxies for scraping.. I'm using Google's chart API

SEscout was good until they removed paypal and it eventually messed up!

Aslong as its reliable and priced well you will surely have a good demand for it , Especially from BHW

I would like to test it,like it was said above, the problem with these types of tools is that the pricing is too high but the biggest problem i have with these tools are that it takes too long for results,is the the speed on this one ok?

I've considered using Google's chart API, but I was paranoid that they would figure out what I'm scraping. Now I use matplotlib.

What language are you writing this in?

You're just feeding it numbers, how could they figure out you were scraping?
