Web Question

I am trying to create a website that allows others to piggyback off my main site but not sure how to do so. Also where the customer can customize their website with photos, links, and whatever else... I would create or purchase the templates they can choose from.

So this is what I am looking for as an example:

My main site website.com
customer 1: website.com/customer1
customer2: website.com/customer2

Where each customer can customize it like mentioned.

Does anyone know of a script, program, or anything that can help with my goal?

In the absence of any other answers I am going to suggest wpmu. I don't know much about it as I don't use it but from what I understand it should come close to doing what you want.
