Nowadays,I want to build a website.Today i visited an ad on facebook a person is giving domain name with .com and hosting for one year in just 12 dollars. what do you think guys. This is possible or not, because i have checked many platforms like Hostinger,Bluehosh, namecheap etc. There is not this offer less than 40 dollars.

Its possible, but the hardware will be shit. Go for a reputable supplier and a vps, something like cpanel and you'll have one less thing on your plate to worry about. Unless you noticed, you probably got bigger fish to fry than figuring out the absolute cheapest hosting from hours of browsing. You could ask on BHW! I use OVH, A2, and DO. No problems, at all. My shared sites I have with another provider go down about once a week for 5 minutes, the others 5 minutes every few months.

Orangehost with 1st year promotion costs around $13.

Service is not very great but ok for simple blogs or small business websites.

It's better to go with an established brand as pointed above by @Panther28

You can get even cheaper than that offer but quality of service will be pathetic.

You can buy .com for 3 dollar check tldies.com. Now the hosting will be shit like other told, it will not be worth 12-3 =9$ it will be worth may be fifty cents, so they are making money and you are getting clowned.

You have to get better hosting. Try getting a good deals on Black Friday.

Have you checked this? RAM is unlimited, and CPU is also unlimited.

Depends on the hosting, but that might be possible. He could be selling you hosting that's actually free. Or he makes a smart investment cause he will likely control the domain, thus if your website grows after a year he shall bill you way more (this is the strategy that lots of registrars utilize, the first year with them is cheap but it gets expesmansive thereafter). TLDR: if this is some throwaway site/doorway/admin panel you don't care about, go for it, but when the year passes and the domain is of value for you you might be charged high.

With Black Friday around check for deals on lowendbox.
You might find a good one.

It's still better and safer to use reputable hosting services. This will save you unnecessary stress and problems at the end of the day.

Probably a shit hosting company where you site will be offline many times, don't waste your money
Wait first for blackfriday deals

Probably trash hosting. Your site won't load well

If hosting is not giving you access to dns records you can't transfer your domain name, you are locked with them. Check with their support how much they will charge you to get your domain to be really yours, on another hosting. Seriously, price should tell you something; you think you are saving something now, but you are not.
