Web Hosting Needs Calculator - Beginner Friendly

Hey Guys,

So, as a lot of people here in the forum, I have little to no experience when it comes to understanding server requirements and what hosting to choose for a specific type of website.

I was looking for a tool online that would allow a newbie like me to estimate what specs I would need and I found this: https://www.hypercalc.com/web-hosting-calculator

I have an adult website built on WordPress with embed videos only and according to that page, I would only need 1GB of RAM and 500BG monthly Bandwidth to support <1Million users a month.

That seems way to low to be true, but again, I can be wrong.

Can someone who understands a little bit more about hosting and server requirements take a look at that tool and tell me if it can be trusted?

Embedding external video's on your page does not use the bandwidth of your own hosting. I've had 2000 concurrent visitors on my landing page all watching a 30mb video with 5$ shared hosting, because I was loading the video through an external CDN.

Lol, I have tried to use. And is a completely bullshit. Wasting of time lol.. Is better waste your time researching for what you are looking for, than this believe me.
