Web Hosting Needed

Considering the uptime and security (talking about only the shared linux hosts. Never used any other hosting products from them), I also consider them in top 10, but their support is really poor and not to mention the traffic blocking thingy, which sucks..

I wouldn't use godaddy. I had too many issues with their tech support.

Especially being outside the USA, they give zero f's about you : in the past they've required clients ID's and so forth I had to run after clients and get their passport scanned and sent to a company I definitely don't trust just to please them. Simply ridiculous.

I already mentioned about their poor support. Those people are just puppets repeating the same script again and again. I have handled them well so far, but I don't think everyone can do it LOL

I use a company called Hosting24. Their gold package is about $11-13 per month and is pretty much unlimited everything. I've only had to use their support a handful of times, but it's been fantastic each time. I've been using them for the past 4-5 years now and it's great. Server uptime is amazing, too...I've only once had an issue where my site wasn't accessible (that I know of, anyways) because they were doing upgrades on their servers. I haven't checked out their packages recently because I've had mine for so long, but last I checked they had a silver account for about $6 per month that would probably suit the needs of most people.

You can try appfog.com, you can install wordpress and some other open source CMS for free. you can customize and power up your wordpress blog with upto 2 GB of RAM and assign to your custom domain.

Check for kvchosting.com solutions. Their service is cool and stability is superb.

What's your budget I wonder?

I've been mulling over trying Hostgator for a while now. And they seem to get the most recommendations from BHW members.
