The only webhosting which is cheap in price that I know of is Hostwinds. I was with them several times. Definitely worth a try.

I would also recommend this, hostgator is very reputable. You can also look to purchase a domain from namecheap.
Try asmallorange. I've been using them for a few years now. Great support, cheap and you can host as many wordpress sites as you like which are easily installed via control panel in a couple of clicks. Shared hosting starts at $35 a year http://asmallorange.com/hosting/shared/

Yeah, you can use wordpress on hostwinds. I use hostgator primarily, but hostwinds was good in my experience as well.
Other people might say something bad about hostgator, but i never had a problem with them. I've spammed the shit of out some of my domains too. No problems.
