Web hosting for affiliate ecom sites

I am looking for good hosting for my ecom sites , have shortlisted namecheap and hostinger
Do you guys have any comments on that or any other recommendation

i use racknerd for everything. its entirely unmanaged but their prices are unbeatable when you find their year round black friday deals. like you pay yearly what most pay monthly.

there is a way to get s3 and route 53 for practically free - 50-80 cents a month but it is challenging to make the website dynamic - practically you are routing the domain from r53 to s3 bucket for practically free

Hostinger normal plan will not work for big store, use their dedicated hosting plans for this.

is that will be very useful?

I guess you mean affiliate sites with redirection to external sales platforms. If that's the case then a standard shared hosting plan from any proper hosting provider (Nanecheap / Hostinger) will do the job (most of the times) as affiliate / redirecting sites do not require extensive resources and the products pages act like any other normal page (blog post for example).

But.. if your websites will act like normal ecommerce website in terms of products data in database then it's a different story.

Technically speaking, regular ecommerce websites require more (and dedicated) resources since they have complex database records (products details, images, prices, color/size variations etc. Users data, Orders etc) + the traffic * database requests * database records....

Don't forget that you can always transfer your successful websites to better hosting solution such as VPS at any time.


Or you can jump on VPS and just upgrade the resources when you need.

youd be better of just using cloudflare pages if you are going this route. you can use cloudflare workers to it even.

1. Racknerd : vps in U.S. its unmanaged but its Ryzen.
2. The-Online.com : cpanel hosting in U.S. unlimited space NVMe. It's cheap and managed.
3. BuyVM: in EU vps.

performance-wise all are best and more than 99.999% uptime. BuyVM has bit less uptime 99% only as per my hetrixtools.

Hostinger is bit better than namecheap. I've used them in past. but they are not good for hosting ecommerce sites. too much cpu/RAM usage and they'll kick you out or make you upgrade.

Racknerds ryzens are the fantastic especially at like $20/year can't beat it
