UPDATE: PARTNER FOUND. Will post when I need more work done.

EDIT: Do to the bombardment of PM's/Skype's, I am unable to answer any questions at this time... The same thing is happening with my bloody web site design leads!!

UPDATE 2: JV is paused. I will put out a sample website as to what I expect to be done on each project. I will also write a report on what type of directions I will be given for each site.

I have recently inherited a bunch of people that want me to build them websites.

I have so many people calling me it's crazy.

If you can build 3 websites a week, I need you.

I have more leads then only 3 websites a week, but I can't handle all of the appointments due to school, work, etc.

Therefore, this will be a continuous 3 websites a week extra money.

They will all be Wordpress websites with no content needed, just usual copy (nav bar, the little "copywrite" at the bottom, etc).

If content is required, I will send it to you somehow (email/skype).


This job requires the skills to modify Wordpress templates so that the client can use that page template whenever they want.

Requirements:
- Comfortably build 3+ Wordpress sites a week.
- Possess the skill to modify templates. If you feel you can do it, I won't ask questions.
- Must be reliable and either respond insanely quickly to emails or skype, or give me your phone number so that I can call you directly.
- Must be comfortable having Skype video chat with me for business purposes.
- Must be patient with me when I am trying to explain things to you.
- Must be honest, and not do anything blackhat with the usernames and passwords you are going to possess.
- Must be patient in payment and understand you won't get money right away, just as I don't. I will explain more in the Skype Conference.

Sounds to me like these "simple three websites per week" will be high maintenance especially given your list of requirements.

From your statements it also appears that you have had at least one (maybe more) person creating websites for you.

If you've been doing this a while why can't you build them yourself if they are to be "simple" sites with no content?

If I were interested in a job like this I would specify that I would have no contact with actual website owners so that I don't get saddled with work due to their high expectations based on the actual price they paid rather my 35%.

I would be sure to spell out exactly what I will, and will not do in the creation of these sites, and how much extra work will cost.

I'm not replying to your needing a web designer. That's between you and whoever on Skype...but you can't reasonably start a thread and command us not to comment. This is a forum BTW.
 
I would like to take the job but I am having doubts with this part ---> " - Must be patient in payment and understand you won't get money right away, just as I don't. " I think this is also the concern of most people who will be reading the post. I have done designs for people online before and been scammed many times just because I never ask for 50% down payment. I'm not saying you will do the same but I guess that's one of the major issues.

Yeah, that's what I've been getting a lot.

The thing is that I am so broke right now I can't afford to pay the designer out of pocket. I put in just as much time as the designer does to get these leads, as I meet up with them in person and discuss their ideas and what not.

Anyways, I am typing up a detailed report of directions on how to build the site. Not to many people like the face-to-face skype idea--wait, scratch that--NOBODY liked the face to face skype idea lol, so this will email will have to be the primary way of communication for me and my future partner.

Also, I am going to come up with a way to just pay $40 bucks up front.

Until then, this JV is paused.
 
Update: As of now, JV is re-open.

All discrepancies with my last proposal have been fixed.
