Hello,

When I close a web design deal, I need to have the customers fill out an order form that will explain clearly what requirements are needed for the web design project so I can send it to the programmer and he will understand exactly what the customer wants. Does anyone have something like that which I can use for my clients and make sure this process is more smooth?

I'd really appreciate it.

If you are using wordpress you can customize the fields in contact form 7 with drop down boxes and so on. It should cover most of what you need. If your not running wordpress then I don't know.

I need the content, I'd like to know the right questions to ask.

as previously said u need a contact form (customized) so user can fill it and u will get in ur mail box. and u can edit and send to ur designer..

few questions I ask clients in my day job include:

is this a business already trading or is it a new venture? (do they have a website already that needs upgrading or is it from scratch)
What line of work is it?
How many pages they are looking for?
Will they provide the content?
Do they have a logo?
What is their budget?
Preferred colour theme
Websites they have seen around the web they like the look and feel of.
