Do you think niching down as a web agency is a successfull strategy?
What are your experiences in this?

What can be a profitable niche for web designer?

With niche down I mean offer your services to a specific group of professionals/customers.

Not much web designer here

I think it could definitely help especially if you’re a freelancer.

Going after one industry will build more trust with your customers.

It’s like they have a decision to go with a regular web designer, or a specific web designer related to their business.

Think from their perspective.

Do you have a portfolio?

Not yet.
How can I have a portfolio starting from scratch?

The idea is to build my own specific web design website (oriented for a single industry).
Create up to 3 mockup with different designs, kind of ready to use templates.
Start offering the first 2-3 jobs at a super discounted price to build an actual portfolio.

Would be nice though to share some profitable niches for this biz.
Any idea?
