Web design - do I have a chance ?

I have quit themeforest few months ago. Yet I kept my HTML template since I never really had anyone to look at it. Only 2 people saw it - reviewer and me. I was hesitating to post it here but I just have to ask. I think it will be good to know whether I suck at design or not.

I was working on it for about 8 months and got rejected countless times by ruthless reviewer of ****forest.

It is a little outdated now but still. What do you guys think ?

Nulled ? It's a HTML template not wordpress though. Template =/= theme.

The simple act of people seeing it gives me satisfaction. Nothing funny about getting hard rejects over and over. Believe it or not I was hard rejected 20 times.

One time they have accepted it as soft reject, pointed out to few simple mistakes that I need to fix and after fixing them I got hard rejected to no reason again.

I have absolutely no clue whether my skills are enough to earn money from design or not.

More opinions are welcome!

It looks good. It's themeforest style which I personally don't like, but its a good one. Convert it into WordPress, thats ur only chance.

What do you mean by saying only chance ? Chance to sell on themeforest as wordpress version ? They won't accept it. I have seen dude who struggled for over a year to get his wordpress theme accepted there. It is best bet to get HTML version accepted first and then make a wordpress version. There are other alternatives but they suck compared to themeforest.
 
Nice design, BTW, If you are Good at designs start a Service here, Better than Themeforest. I never understand why Themeforest is Too Hard to get accepted. My friend is a Great Freelancer at Odesk & Charge even 800-1200 Per WP theme, but still he never accepted in Themeforest.

Tested a bit on the slow end.
Must be all that extra HTML code.
Move to WordPress.
I give it a solid 7.5/10 maybe even 8/10

I never actually saw myself as designer but after seeing an opportunity at themeforest's HTML template's section I decided to take a chance.

I am learning wordpress at the moment.

The question is - why would I convert it to wordpress theme ? All these marketplaces seem to take a smelly dump on designers in a random order. I don't know where else I can sell wordpress theme.
 
Looks great. You should convert to WP, because WP adds so much value to your website.

With an HTML template you are limited to the code. With WP, you always have updates, plugins, other themes, etc.
 
Ok, you guys inspired me to give one more shot at this.

I have found another emerging marketplace for themes - Bootstrapbay. I have already submitted my template there. I'm hoping to get it accepted :) I must learn wordpress then, I guess. But what do I do with my template that's converted to wordpress ? I can't risk another rejection. I don't even know how much years it takes to convert from HTML to wordpress. Some say it takes only few days and other say that it took them over a year.

And doesn't every client in these freelance websites choose a wordpress theme that suits his website the most by himself ? I wouldn't really have a use of it anyways. Or am I wrong ?

I didnt said to sell it on themeforest. Go with WP themes, not simple HTML.
 
Hey, I really like the design. It's something that brands would use or even ad agencies.

Have you considered promoting this yourself instead of relying on a third party?

Or even trying PPC?

I was thinking about SEO but this is really competitive niche. PPC = I'm not that rich :)

My best bet is to try sites like teabagforest and wrapbootstrap.
 
I download HTML templates from themeforest. I wish to god there were more but everyone focuses on shitty wordpress. I write C# stuff, and download HTML themes from them. They have an extremely high standard, which I like.

I sell code there at their sister site codecanyon.
