Web based bots

Are web based bots safe? If Instagram closes the bot service do i get my insta account banned?
Can i run a web based bot on my residential ip? I dont want to use any proxy since im botting only one account

I suggest that you still use a proxy even if you're only running one account with bots. If you get banned, it would already be difficult to go around it. Save yourself the hassle. But I don't think you will be banned if the bot service gets closed by IG. -Micah
