Total newbie question, apologize ahead of time!

I am looking into FL for a seasoned (2 year old) business account. I only run a few accounts form the our offices (static IP) so I am not worried about getting a proxy. However, I am a little unclear on which direction would be best. It seems like IG has a better chance of banning accounts that use bots. So a web base bot seems like it would be safer. FL is software so it will run form my desktop. Is this going to be a red flag?

Thanks for all the info gents. This forum has saved my life multiple times!

If I were you, I would stick to manually growing the account.
I understand your suggestion. However, I cannot compete growing the account manually when I am running a small dept. and social media isn't my main job. I plan to work along side the bot to grow the account. So I am not looking for a "set it and forget it" solution. But I need to at least clone myself to handle the work load.

Well a desktop software or web-based solution are essentially the same thing, the only difference is how you interact with the bot, by either on your desktop or on the browser.
Automating your tasks on IG will be risky on both solutions...

So IG sees the bot in the same way regardless of desk top or web base?

Basically yes, for example, you could setup FL to be controlled from a web browser, without the user knowing what is underneath.

How do I do this? Is it a setting inside of FL?
