I'm using web 2.0s to backlink some first tier links. I don't want the tier 1's to rank, I just want to juice them up, so does it matter what I use as the anchor text for the links pointing to them? Would using a name or something as a link make it any less valuable?

Also, which do you think is better to use as tier one - web 2s or decent PR non-AA article directories? I just got a bunch of WP blogs deleted for spam so I'm a little flinchy about using keyword anchor text on web 2's, but on the other hand you can make a pile of 'em pretty fast. Article directories are kind of a pain but you automatically get a couple of keywords anchor text links with no hassle. Just wondering which you prefer?
