I'm looking for some sites where I'm allowed to edit the robots.txt file for my subdomain.....anybody know of any?

Web 2.0 sites won't give you that amount or level of control. In other words, you can't edit the robots.txt file of a web 2.0 site. The only way to do that is to buy your own domain and self-host it.
