That's not easy to make money through web 2.0 and beside working on web 2.0 blogs, you should purchase domain and hosting and that's really worth for the money that you're going to invest. Focus on contents and generate quality backlinks that's all dude. Good luck!

My pinterest started ranking really high from having a lot of repins. Not sure if its related, but I would also consider other things than backlinks.

I am using blogger and web 2.0 backlinks in order to rank it and so far so good. Only thing is
yes you are basically in Googles hands or any companies hands building all of your work off
of a web 2.0 but for learning SEO its fine.
